Frank McBride brings over 23 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management to RTM, with his previous experience encompassing major market sectors including healthcare, higher education, hospitality, entertainment, mission critical, transportation, sports venues, justice, industrial, and commercial office.
During his tenure at AECOM, Frank supported engineering teams across the West region, managing project assignments, maintaining electrical project budgets, providing QA/QC reviews, reviewing and developing fees for RFP’s, and other resource management activities. His portfolio ranges from major critical infrastructure improvements at the Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center in Hawaii, to the high-profile Universal Studios Grand Hotel at the Universal Beijing Resort. He has also worked with several federal and DoD clients, multiple California State Universities, University of Southern California and UC Irvine.
Frank will be joining RTM as a Principal in our Newport Beach, California office, and will be working directly with teams from all three of our southern California locations. His extensive knowledge of electrical design and the local market will play an important role in the growth of our presence in California by providing essential oversight and support for the electrical portion of projects, as well as technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members as they grow their careers.
Frank McBride is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and Hawaii. He attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering, and is a member of several industry organizations including Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI), and Illumination Engineering Society of North America (IES).
