As a member of the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG), a non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of independent third-party commissioning professionals, RTM Engineering Consultants work to ensure employees have a better understanding of the commissioning process by educating, training, and encouraging team members to gain certifications such as Certified Commissioning Authorities (CxAs), and Certified Commissioning Technicians (CxTs).
We are happy to announce that two RTM team members have earned their CxA certifications: Congratulations to Ramesh Mirchandani, P.E., President and Mitesh Smart, P.E., Principal. The examination assesses a professional’s thorough knowledge and understanding of the commissioning process, and their ability to provide professional commissioning services in accordance with the ACG Commissioning Guideline. It is based on the new occupational guidelines for Building Commissioning Professionals that was developed by the U.S. Department of Energy.
RTM also received a “Member in Good Standing” certificate from AABC. With a recently launched Sustainability Studio, RTM offers commissioning services to clients with a goal of ensuring the inclusion of energy-efficient and operationally-based systems in the design phase. This aims to avoid costly maintenance or safety issues from surfacing in construction or occupancy.
