Every year, the 29th Annual Communicator Awards competition honors creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals working in the fields of advertising, corporate communications, public relations and design – including audio and video projects.
This year RTM’s Beyond Engineering podcast won recognition for two miniseries featuring eight episodes produced during 2022, the program’s inaugural year.
The first award-winning miniseries celebrates the career journeys of multiple RTM team members collaborating across the country – from recent hires to established pros, from principals to interns. Communicator Awards judges bestowed Gold honors to “One Year of Beyond Engineering: Celebrating Journeys” for excellence in producing podcast episodes for business-to-business audiences.

The second award-winning miniseries celebrates our firm’s culture of connection and support that fosters performance excellence and professional development. Communicator Awards judges bestowed Silver honors to “One Year of Beyond Engineering: Celebrating Values” for distinction in producing podcast episodes for professional services audiences.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The academy is an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Judges evaluate entries by scoring quality, production and performance against an objective standard of excellence considering the category entered.
