RTM provided civil engineering services for the development known as “The Fields” at 4000 W. Diversey Ave in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. The 1.4-million-square-foot former Marshall Field’s warehouse was renovated to include retail space, living and working space, industrial warehouse space, office space and 700 indoor parking stalls. Civil engineering services included parking lots, roadway improvements, and adding traffic signals and ramps into the development.
The Fields offers up to 450,000 square feet of office space and over 200,000 square feet of retail amenities. This unique development features more outdoor space than any other project in Metro Chicago including rooftop terraces, dog runs, and indoor/outdoor event space.
