RTM provided full MEP engineering design services for the ground up, 57,000-square-foot Fairfield Inn & Suites in Springfield, MO. The 4-story hotel features 92 guestrooms, 11 suites, 4 meeting rooms totaling 1,404 square feet, LED lighting throughout, a rooftop photovoltaic system, and electric car charging stations.
A variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC system was used in all guestrooms and public spaces of the hotel, and guestrooms also feature an automated lighting controls system so lights will fully dim when rooms were unoccupied. This project achieved LEED Silver certification.
