RTM provided MEP design services for 810 Zone Bar & Grille, located on Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri. The restaurant was retrofitted into an existing space that had housed a variety of different functions over the years.
The space, modeled after the ESPN Zone franchise, was developed by an ownership group that consists of owners of a local sports-talk radio station, restaurant operator group and various other local celebrity athletes. It includes multi-level seating, two bars, a private lounge, 5,000-square-foot game room, full commercial kitchen and a working control booth to accommodate live radio broadcasts, all in a contemporary sports themed environment.
Significant architectural, structural and mechanical modifications were required to execute the owner’s vision.
