RTM Engineering Consultants was recently featured in The Zweig Letter—a weekly publication by the Zweig Group highlighting important trends, management tips, and best practices in the architecture/engineering (A/E) industry. The newsletter gives an inside look at how real people in A/E and environmental services firms tackle today’s challenges.
The two-page feature touches on RTM’s recent merger with Lippe and Associates and how this partnership aligns with the firm’s mission to continuously provide innovative designs to clients, on time and within budget.
RTM CEO Tony Mirchandani explains how the merger has expanded existing capabilities for both companies and why RTM is a major advocate of a collaborative work environment. Mirchandani believes a “Stronger Together” perspective is important when combining cultures and resources.
“When cultures clash, it creates a barrier for integrating teams and processes,” Mirchandani says. “We understand that by blending Lippe with RTM, along with our previously acquired offices, we’re essentially creating a new culture that embraces the knowledge, expertise, and personality of each company. We truly are stronger together.” RTM’s core values include being responsive, exhibiting honesty and instilling trust, and constant communicators with the ability to work hard and play hard. Those values align well with Lippe’s.
