RTM partnered with Walgreens to provide MEP design services to refurbish its fleet of stores with a brighter, more modern look; a heightened focus on the pharmacy, and upgraded technology in the checkout areas. By employing a streamlined and intensely organized process, RTM overcame the demanding project scope of 100+ stores in 30 days.
Whether a location required enhancements to the pharmacy – including adding private consultation rooms in the expanded wellness clinics to align with Walgreens’ and other pharmacy chains’ post-Affordable Care Act initiative to provide more comprehensive everyday wellness care – or a beauty department that really popped, the team grouped plans into set programs. The RTM project managers then worked to shuttle information and instructions between the design team and the crew on site to ensure open communication and a smooth roll-out of work.
RTM’s collaborative approach enabled the challenging deadlines to be met and culminated in a successful project delivery.
