RTM has provided MEP engineering design services for approximately 200,000 square feet of renovation and expansion projects within several facilities of Medline Industries, a medical product manufacturer and supplier. Upon surveying the existing conditions for each location, RTM provided MEP design services to incorporate all existing systems into the client’s new layout. Highlighted below are several of our recent projects for Medline Industries:
- 28,000-square-foot office space located within the Waukegan, IL facility. The remodeled space will include 39 private offices, conference rooms, and 140 workspaces.
- 13,000-square-foot office space remodel for the inside sales department located in Vernon Hills, IL. The reconfigured space features 80 workstations, 12 private offices, four conference rooms, breakroom, reception area, storage space and server room.
- 12,000-square-foot second floor mezzanine build-out for the distribution center located in Libertyville, IL. The additional office space includes private offices and huddle rooms, conference and training rooms, 55+ workstations, two lounge areas, breakroom and server room. Within the same Libertyville location, a 3,000-square-foot expansion was provided to the first floor café within the distribution warehouse.
- 12,000-square-foot expansion to the research and development department in Mundelein, IL. The project included the addition of laboratory spaces, workstations, private offices and conference room. Within the same Mundelein location, a reconfiguration of 16,000 square feet of warehouse production lines, a form/fill/seal area, private office space and common area; as well as the relocation of the HVAC unit to the first floor.
