- What do you like best about working at RTM?
The culture at RTM is impressive. The company really invests in its employees, encouraging and facilitating transfers of knowledge throughout our various locations. As members of the RTM team we have the opportunity to gain continued education hours and mentorship, while receiving hands-on experience, all of which is imperative to growing in this industry.
- What do you bring to RTM?
I have many years of experience working with multi-family build clients and in-depth code experience for varying MEP/FP designs. The partnership with Lippe and RTM allows me to gain additional experience offering clients in every major market sector sustainable and reliable engineering solutions that have a positive impact on their business, which, in all honesty, is the best part of my job.
- What was one of the most interesting projects you’ve worked on?
I was part of the engineering design team that worked on the first Planet Hollywood in New York City. It was located in the basement and first floor of a 13-story building and the project included steam, hot water, and chilled water systems. I also had the opportunity to do inspections for Planet Hollywood in Cancun, and attended the grand opening celebration (very fun experience). In addition, I’ve worked on a number of Hard Rock Cafes in various cities, including Dallas, Boston, Atlanta, Mexico City, San Juan, and Tehran.
- What’s a fun fact about yourself?
I’ve been riding in the Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred cycling event for about 27 years. It’s the oldest and largest cycling event in the United States and features four days of challenging and inspiring activities.
