Travis Culp, PE, SE | Principal – Structural Engineer
Travis joined RTM in 2022 following the acquisition of KNA Structural Engineers and brings 12 years of expertise in design and construction administration for a diverse range of building types. Travis views structural engineering as the perfect blend of math, drafting, and design, using innovative mathematical solutions to address unique design challenges. His passion for education projects – ranging from K-12 to higher education – is driven by the variety of materials, structural systems, and intriguing architecture these projects involve. Licensed in both California and Arizona, Travis finds the most rewarding aspect of his work to be the opportunity in seeing projects evolve from early design stages through to construction, ultimately resulting in the creation of spaces that serve and enrich our communities for years to come. Among his top achievements, Travis is proud of earning his PE and SE licenses; receiving the Award of Merit from the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California for his work on the Le-Jao Student Center at Coastline Community College in Westminster, California; and most recently, his promotion to Principal. As he continues his career with RTM, Travis looks forward to strengthening client relationships through business development opportunities and securing exciting new projects for RTM.

Courtney Leaf, PE | Principal – Electrical Engineer

After completing her master’s degree at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, she joined the Davenport office in 2016. Courtney discovered her passion for engineering in high school when she took a drafting class, which, along with her love for math, led her to pursue architectural engineering. Since joining RTM, Courtney has gained extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for a broad range of projects across several market sectors. Her expertise and dedication have made her a key contributor in the Davenport office, where she currently serves as office leader. Among her notable achievements, Courtney is particularly proud of her role in a YMCA project, where she had the opportunity of witnessing the community’s enthusiastic support for this new facility. She has also reached significant milestones in her career, such as passing the PE exam, obtaining her master’s degree, and leading the engineering efforts for the Grant Wood Elementary School project. Looking ahead, Courtney is eager to further develop her management and mentoring skills while also expanding the Davenport office’s client base. She will also continue her contributions to the Elevate women’s subgroup by planning and supporting monthly meetings.
