- What do you like best about working at RTM?
RTM offers employees a great potential for professional growth and advancement. The company provides continued education, mentorship, and hands-on experience that is really beneficial for professionals who want to grow within the industry. Our team is encouraged to participate in various seminars and gain professional development hours to ensure we provide consistent and innovative quality designs to our clients.
2. What do you bring to RTM?
I was told by a co-worker to say “wit and sass” but seriously… Dedication to project completion and loyalty to the company have always been part of my character. I think both of these have led me to where I am today. For the past few years I’ve worn many different hats, from project manager, to team leader, and mechanical designer for two teams, while also being known as the office “I.T. guy.” I’m proud that I can be a resource not only to clients, but also to my amazing team.
- What was one of the most interesting projects you’ve worked on?
With Lippe and Associates, I’ve worked on an estimated amount of 1,400+ projects. I enjoy being a resource on a variety of retail projects, both the quick turnaround, high volume stores to the more complex ones. One of the more interesting projects for me was working on multiple Bass Pro Shops, in which two of them involved prototype designs.
- What’s a fun fact about yourself?
I really try to make others laugh and worry less about the stresses in the office. Also, I was born in Iceland, my parents were both in the U.S. Navy, and we travelled to and lived in five different countries before I was 9 years old.
