RTM provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, specialty lighting, technology, and commissioning services for the comprehensive renovation of the former Sky Hotel, with a focus on enhancing system performance, energy efficiency, and seamless architectural integration. Mechanical scope included HVAC design, load calculations, and equipment sizing, along with snowmelt systems, pool heating, and ventilation strategies for high-traffic areas. Plumbing design covered domestic water, waste, gas systems, and fixture coordination throughout the property. Electrical work included power distribution, surge protection, and utility coordination, while technology services supported structured cabling and AV systems. RTM remained involved during construction, offering site visits, coordination, and commissioning to ensure smooth system startup and performance.

Lighting design played a key role in reimagining the hotel’s identity, supporting both aesthetic and operational goals. The lighting approach emphasized architectural features and material textures, using layered illumination to define key spaces while maintaining visual comfort. Thoughtfully integrated fixtures highlighted focal points and enhanced guest-facing areas such as lounges, lobbies, and exterior entrances. The design also prioritized energy efficiency and compatibility with building controls for a seamless and sustainable lighting environment.
