RTM provided MEP/FP engineering services for the full renovation of the historic Everitt Laboratory building into a state-of-the-art bioengineering laboratory. The project included the renovation of approximately 124,206 square feet of space, while converting over 10,000 square feet into new research areas. The renovation achieved the goal of providing spaces to meet the future requirements of the Bioengineering Department.
Project scope included renovation of research laboratories, administrative space, teaching classrooms, and laboratory space featuring active learning classrooms. In addition, an upgraded main entry, socialization space, and existing clean room were included in the remodel.
RTM actively provided construction management for the team and assisted with coordination throughout the planned demolition process.
