The Retreat at Urbana Country Club

RTM provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services for the new 29,245-square-foot hotel and spa facility named The Retreat at the Urbana Country Club.

The new 3-story hotel and spa features a high-end wellness facility with all the amenities: men’s and women’s spa’s; steam and sauna rooms; treatment rooms; relaxation lounge; showers and restrooms; hair and nail salon on the first level. This lower level also includes a spa office, housekeeping/laundry room, lobby, golf simulator, pool table room, kid’s room, fitness center, locker rooms, kitchen and bar, along with the mechanical and electrical room.

The second and third levels feature a high-end luxury hotel with six guest rooms, each with its own private balcony, and two guest suites, each with its own private balcony and access to an outdoor terrace. The building has energy efficiencies including natural lighting, geothermal heating and cooling systems.

RTM also provided mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering design services for the replacement of the existing pool and a new equipment building. The new outdoor swimming pool features zero entry, vortex, large in-pool seating area, wet deck, lap pool, diving board and hot water spa. The new equipment building consists of the pool mechanical along with an equipment and guard office/breakroom.
