The Farm at Brush Creek

RTM provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, specialty lighting, and commissioning services for a luxury ranch destination that combines hospitality, dining, and production facilities within a scenic natural setting. The design balanced rustic charm with modern amenities to deliver a refined guest experience.

Mechanical and plumbing systems were tailored for diverse functions—including an exhibit kitchen, distillery, brewery, creamery, and wine storage—with decentralized heating and cooling via electric and propane sources. Plumbing included domestic water, hot water heating, waste and gas piping, and coordinated utility connections, while fire protection was addressed through performance-based design.

Electrical design supported power distribution, generator integration, surge protection, and backup for critical loads, with layouts serving both public and operational areas. RTM also coordinated utility and specialty systems to meet complex program needs.

Specialty lighting created a warm, welcoming atmosphere, using accent lighting over dining areas, concealed illumination for wine and liquor displays, and UV-filtered lighting in the wine cave. Custom 2350K tape lighting enhanced wood tones and mimicked incandescent warmth, while on-site aiming refined visual impact on artwork and architecture.

The project earned a 2022 Lighting Design Award for its successful blend of function, elegance, and immersive ambiance.
