RTM provided engineering review and HVAC calculations of the mechanical systems for the new 72,000-square-foot PK-8 charter school in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood. HVAC calculations and outputs were LEED Platinum-compliant and our team coordinated with the LEED consultant for LEED Platinum template completion and signed and sealed document services.
The three-story facility includes classrooms, a gymnasium, dining, office and support spaces. The project’s mission was to create an outstanding center for teaching and learning and to organize all program and administrative elements for the building in an interactive manner, providing continuous interaction between staff and students.
