RTM has worked closely with the architect as well as LA Fitness in designing multiple ground-up and retro-fit locations nationwide. The clubs, ranging from 31,000 to 48,000 square feet, involve the MEP/FP system design for pools, work-out/fitness areas, racquetball and basketball courts and juice bars.
RTM has been instrumental in improving the prototype design for LA Fitness by modifying certain HVAC and electrical concepts used in their previously designed clubs.
For example, RTM has helped reduce humidity problems throughout the clubs and within the pool/spa areas by analyzing the current loads, the size of the pool and the airflow equipment. Through the use of new wire raceways, RTM has also developed more efficient and aesthetic ways of delivering power and cable to their fitness equipment. RTM is continually providing cost effective and sophisticated designs for the health clubs’ MEP/FP systems, creating value for both the owner and the client.
