The hotel underwent a full renovation to transition from a DoubleTree to a Curio Collection by Hilton, transforming 208 guest rooms and key amenity spaces including ballrooms, meeting rooms, the restaurant, bar, fitness center, and outdoor areas. The design embraced a modern mountain aesthetic, integrating upgraded mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology systems throughout the property.
Custom lighting elements, such as gondola pendant lights and a backlit vertical slat mountain wall, were incorporated to create striking focal points. The lobby was redesigned with recessed track lighting, cove lighting, and downlights, centered around a custom fireplace to enhance the inviting atmosphere.
Lighting also played a central role in the restaurant and bar, where recessed lights accent the bottle display, and pendant fixtures offer both style and functionality. In guest rooms, lighting was integrated seamlessly into the furniture design, combining form and function. Additionally, a modern lighting control system was installed, featuring custom-engraved keypads and touchscreens for guest convenience. Plumbing and HVAC systems were also upgraded to ensure comfort and support sustainability initiatives.
