RTM provided MEP and civil engineering design for the renovation and revitalization of DSV’s Air & Sea division in Miami, Florida. The scope of work included the development of long-term occupancy needs for the buildout of approximately 32,000 square feet and included the reception area, private offices, conference rooms, huddle rooms, breakout areas, new cafeteria, and the renovation of existing bathrooms. One design challenge our team was faced with was the re-use of electrical distribution and mechanical rooftop units. Extra attention to detail was needed to deliver a successful project for the redesigned space.
Our civil team provided coordination with Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department and design for the conversion of the undersized water service to an appropriately sized service for the renovated facility.
