PALM DESERT, CA

Desert Surf is a surfing resort destination situated on a 17-acre site in the City of Palm Desert, CA.

The resort will include a 9,000-square-foot Surf Center featuring indoor and outdoor bar and seating; event space for up to 300 occupants; full kitchen servicing the restaurant and grab-n-go-style cafe; surf lagoon ticketing, retail area, and board/wetsuit rentals; and offices for operations.

The 4-story, 83,000-square-foot hotel will be comprised of 91 guest rooms, lobby, restaurant, bar, cafe, meeting/banquet rooms, fitness center, and spa.

Located within the center of the site will be a 5-acre surf lagoon utilizing state-of-the-art wave generating technology. A 10,000-square-foot fenced and shaded maintenance yard will be designed in order to house all maintenance equipment for the lagoon. This structure will not be a fully separate building, but architecturally designed to hide equipment from public view.

Also located on the site will be 83 resort villas, each one amounting to 2,200 square feet. This section of the resort will also include a clubhouse, fitness center, kids play area, flex space and outdoor event area, swimming pool and spa, and BBQ areas.
