Des Plaines Park District, Centennial Park

RTM provided civil engineering services for the creation of a new neighborhood park for the Des Plaines Park District located at Oakwood Avenue and Center Street in Des Plaines, IL.

Project goals for the new park were to keep costs within budget while on a short design and construction timeline. RTM was able to use our extensive knowledge of the applicable codes to obtain a favorable determination from the stormwater regulators and create a design to avoid unnecessarily crossing thresholds that would have significantly increased cost and negatively impacted the facilities that are available to the public.
