Barrington Area Library

Provided engineering design services for the complete renovation of the Barrington Area Library including upgrading outdated mechanical and electrical systems, as well as designing a new interactive environment for library users. The space features collaborative areas with modern amenities such as smart rooms, media labs, and a business center and internet cafe.

Additionally, RTM provided civil engineering and electrical design services for the capital repair and replacement project of the library’s lower parking lot. The project scope included replacing the asphalt pavement, reconstructing the ADA route from parking lot to building, replacing broken or damaged areas of the sidewalk, and adding a pedestrian crossing signal. RTM also provided the site lighting and site electrical design for the lower parking lot.
