RTM is providing MEP design for various ALDI grocery store locations as part of a national roll-out program, including new stores and refresh/expansions to existing locations.

Ground-up stores scope of work is based on site-adaptation of the current prototype to reflect the local building codes. Ground-up with alterations allows for a revised building exterior, addition of a new EIFS cornice to the top parapet and alternate semi-truck dock area.

Retrofit of existing buildings is based on site-adaptation of the prototype within an existing tenant space that will be subdivided into approximately 20,000 square feet. The interior layout and configuration will accommodate the current prototype elements.

Expansion projects include the addition of approximately 2,500 square feet of new interior space and new entry. In remodels for full mechanical, the interior sales floor is completely remodeled including new mechanical and electrical, including lighting.

Remodels for partial mechanical include minor lighting upgrades and no HVAC changes. Electrical service is upgraded to 1000 amp and includes a remodel of exterior lighting. Cosmetic remodels have limited mechanical and electrical revisions.
