This project converted an underused portion of the hospital into an outpatient ambulatory surgical center. By maintaining the OSHPD 1 classification, this project’s area also doubles as additional beds for the ED and additional Operating Rooms for the facility.
Consisting of 3 procedure rooms and 8 beds for combined pre-op and PACU use, this facility provides the island of Coronado with an outpatient surgery option so these residents do not need to travel a further distance for their treatment.
