Ameren Illinois Company, New Corporate Office

RTM Engineering Consultants provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design for the design-build delivery of a new 48,000-square-foot, two-story corporate office.

The new office building accommodates approximately 225 employees with on-site surface parking. The facility includes a combination of open workspace, private executive suites and offices, conference rooms, breakroom equipped with a kitchen, fitness room and a multi-functional auditorium that can be reconfigured into three separate spaces for a variety of meeting sizes and events.

The conference rooms include dropdown screens, projectors and stationary web conferencing cameras and video display boards can be found in the lobby.

The site includes an entrance road and sidewalks; patio; and over 250 parking spaces that encompass a surface lot, ADA spaces. A unique energy-efficient element included a solar canopy covered parking area to accommodate electric car charging stations.
