J+M Civil Design, a division of RTM, provided engineering design, plans, and specifications for the development of a new financial institution. The project limits expanded across a vacated public alley containing many existing utilities. The project included two new parking lots separated by the former alley, a 3-bay teller drive through, new decorative sidewalk at the building entrance, incorporation new sidewalks with existing public streetscaping planters and colored and stamped concrete sidewalks in the right-of-way with some reconstruction of streetscaping elements.
Work included coordination with the City of Bettendorf for site plan approval, coordination with the Iowa DOT for utility work on State and Grant Streets (US Highway 67), and preparation of construction plans, specifications, provisions for water quality, and a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for an NPDES permit, and construction administration.
