RTM provided an analysis and design for upgrades to common areas and rooms at the Silversmith Hotel. Major components of the upgrades consisted of analyzing and documenting the entire electrical distribution system for the hotel. In conjunction with the analysis, RTM delivered a detailed design package consisting of a generator installation as one of the key components to upgrading the building’s life safety systems.
RTM’s experience working in Chicago high-rise buildings brought a strong design team to analyze, solve and ultimately rectify the hotel’s life safety systems. In addition, RTM’s experience in designing new generator systems, fire alarm high rise voice evacuation systems, emergency lighting systems, and fire protection systems made this project a smooth culmination of design expertise to deliver a code compliant and challenging design solution.
