RTM provided the engineering and design of the MEP/FP systems for a new satellite fire station #5 in Ringwood, IL. Plans for the development include an 11,000- square-foot, three-bay fire station with living quarters.
The McHenry Township Fire Protection District has requested design of station #5 be similar to station #4 with some improvements to better meet the needs of staff. The A/E team has added an additional bay and provided a more energy efficient building. This new station is equipped with snow melting, LED lighting, exterior sprinkler tanks and a whole building generator.
