RTM is providing full MEP engineering design services for the ground up, 221,000-square-foot Embassy Suites and Conference Center in Jonesboro, AR – to be located on the campus of Arkansas State University. The 7-story hotel will feature 202 guestrooms, indoor pool, fitness center, and a Houlihan’s Restaurant and Bar within.
RTM will also be providing MEP engineering design services for the connected 60,000-square-foot conference center. The first floor of the hotel will be designed with a variable air volume mechanical system, and use a chilled water system for the hotel tower. The lighting throughout the hotel and conference center will be designed using LED and feature an automated controls system within the guestrooms so lights would fully dim when rooms were unoccupied. This project is anticipated to achieve LEED certification.
